Ildiko, OFSTED childminder in Perivale

My name is Ildiko, I am a formal Montessori teacher and i established Alma Montessori Childcare in 2017. We are an Ofsted registered childminding provision in my spacious 4 bedroom house. We offer a child-centered approach in a “home from home” environment. The setting incorporates the comforts and flexibility of a childminders in a caring, safe and family environment with the experiences and learning of a nursery.

I am loving, playful and genuine person who's passion is to provide quality childcare and support parents with any needs they may have with their child's development. I offer an environment that enables your child to express and develop through play while learning is taking place.

All children have use of a spacious garden which has a range of toys - slide, Wendy house, water&sand, mud kitchen, ride on toys etc.

Parents are kept informed about the day their child has spent in our care through daily dairies, learning journals and active communication. In comparison to a nursery we can care for a smaller number of children at one time, and due to this I will be able to provide plenty of individual attention and I can encourage the child to form healthy emotional attachments.
Children are cared for in mixed age groups and It's a great opportunity for them to be around older or younger children. We have a schedule of activities that we attend every day of the week, mostly toddler groups, but also local parks, farms, museums and other children's activities where the children will receive the stimulation and learning opportunities that they would in a nursery.

We are inspected on a regular basis to ensure we provide excellent care.

I am proud of my positive attitude towards the children. It is especially important to make sure the children have fun and enjoy their day at Alma Montessori! We are warm and friendly – there is nothing that a child would want more but comfort, love and feeling safe within our setting.
