Good Afternoon,
My name is Sophia B.A and I have relocated from Mid Wales to Bristol. I currently look after my partners children who are both under the age of four years old, twice a month in Cornwall. I have a background in organising, coordinating, customer service for the disabled & hospitality industry.
Qualifications - A Degree; Event Management B.A, Level 2 Hygiene Certificate , 3 A-levels, Eleven GCSE's (Included English, Mathematics and the three Sciences ' all grade C and above')
Skills – Self Motivated, Enthusiastic, Qualified Organiser, Great Communicator, ICT Alliterate (survey design and analysis), Dedicated, Determined, Independent although work great in a team, Leadership and have coordination skills for allocating tasks. Previous experience in managing staff/volunteers and budgets within a business also experience in independent research development and journals.
Diary/Email/Time Management, have a passion for marketing and general organisation.
When I saw this position, I was excited it's exactly the position I would love to be involved in; focusing primarily on developing in the areas of events. I understand it is an opportunity to grow in the industry ensuring effective planning and delivery of strategy and also promoting the event skills held. I would like to believe this position could be the beginning of my career as I love to interact with customers and individuals within a team, keeping contact and standards up when in an environment that my skills will shine through. I am enthusiastic about the ethics that the company holds and would love to have the opportunity to be part of the team.
I am hard working, enthusiastic, logical, very professional and keen to learn and explore what there is to know about the industry that you cannot learn from a degree.
I have had experience working with volunteers and staff, organising events; internal and externally within a business/organisation. I have worked for The Olympics (2012) in Cardiff Stadium within the public, set up festivals for a private event in Pembroke; The Really Wild Food Festival (Also seen on BBC Television). Carmarthenshire County Council; The Merlin Festival (2013). I also have also organised my own ‘Afternoon Tea Party Event’ to promote/market a venue’s facilities, which was a great success.
