My name is Wendy the owner of Wendy’s Childminding W3 and I am a registered childminder in the London borough of Ealing in Acton W3.
I have been in Childminder since October 2019.
I have been working in the childcare sector for 30 years.
After attending school and college where I attained childcare qualifications I carried on working in nurseries as a nanny and after-school Playleader and a governess Here in the UK as well as Italy Switzerland and Greece.
As a childminder I provide a secure stimulating and enjoyable environment.
I provide a large range of activities including arts and crafts, messy play, toys and games, cooking and since COVID-19 I have helped children with phonics maths and science activities which has helped them continue with structured learning..
I am able to provide help for older children .with their school homework as well
I encourage free play and structured play.
I have a large garden where we are able to do sports and have a wet and sound area as well as potting plants and vegetables.
I am able to provide and things to the local library, stay and play groups and to my local parks as well as trips to zoos and museums.
I provide healthy home-made meals and snacks for all children in my care and try my best to follow or children’s dietary needs.
I am able to offer a car pick up and drop off service if this is something parents are interested in.

I provide all year round Childcare and have contracts for families and myself to sign.
As a childminder I expect to be paid one month in advance on the first of every month into my bank account.
If your child is ill I am unable to look after them until they are fully recovered from the illness and payment is expected for these days off.
