Hello! I love working with children.I am an ofsted registered childminder, I have a current first aid certificate and 10 years experience. Previously I worked as a heathcare assiatant at Addenbrookes hospital. I became a childminder when my own son was 7 years old, as I could work around family life easier. We are very lucky in Cambridge with groups and playgrounds and gardens and museums-there is always something to do whatever the weather. Spending time at home is also good of course. I have a wide range of toys which I rotate regularly so we have plenty of choices. My family consists of myself, my husband and my son, also our two dogs. One small and furry looking pug X breed called Poppy one big and soppy, golden retriver X breed called Max.Ofsted have inspected my home whilst my dogs were present, they are both friendly, but I tend to seperate them using stair gates. I enjoy working with parents to provide their children a safe and creative environment to learn through play.

Jo has been our childminder for both of our daughters when they were babies and toddlers. Most recently we have employed Jo to take care of our 1 year old in September 2018 and it so ongoing. It is three days a week from 9am-5pm. Jo is a fantastic childminder and we are very lucky to have )her! She provides amazing activities in a full day capacity and our little one loves the days she spends with her. In the mornings they usually have an outing to a play group or play ground, in the afternoon there are great activities at Jo's house either indoors or outdoors. Through out the 6 months our Adela has learned all kinds of motor skills (including walking) as well as language skills (first words), social skills (making friends) and her emotional development has been amazing. Jo has two dogs but this has never been an issue with either of our girls. Overall Jo is a warm and kind person and has a great approach to young children.
