My name is Anastasia , although everyone calls me Stacy. I live in Penicuik with my husband and my two children. I have been a full time stay-at-home parent to my children since 2013, helping them to grow and develop into amazing little people who are comfortable in expressing who they are, their likes and dislikes, their interests and preferences. I have endeavoured to raise them using child-led methods and positive parenting practices and bring this experience to my childminding profession. A key component of this is the ability to set clear boundaries while showing empathy for a child's feelings, supporting their best interests, and teaching discipline in a way that builds self-esteem while supporting a mutually respectful relationship.
I have experience volunteering and working within the local primary school and nursery, and have been a registered childminder since 2019. I have provided wrap-around care for both nursery and school aged children, and have had 2 years experience providing full time specialist care to a child with complex additional support needs.
