My aim is to provide a safe and stimulating family based environment for children, in which they can be happy, have fun, and feel cared for and valued. I want children to feel at home so that they can grow and learn and feel confident in themselves.
I have extensive experience of caring for children of all ages and have been Childminding as a full time career for over 14 years now. I love children and I love my work. Watching children develop and flourish is the most rewarding aspect of my work.
I have also cared for people with Special needs for several years on a voluntary basis.
I have a playroom, which is an integral part of my home, this is packed with toys, games, books and craft materials which are all regularly changed.. I also have many “leapfrog” learning system toys, “Muzzy” language skills system for French, “jolly phonics” learning materials, and “Oxford learning tree” early reader books as used by our local primary school.
We have a very large sitting room where children also play or relax and there is plenty of space for setting up games, playsets and tracks.
