I have experience of working in a nursery environment. The children that come to our Tots Time take part in making things. They also learn from taking part in drawing, reading, dancing, singing. In general they learn a lot from the activities we provide as well as having fun. We have toys for all age groups from babies to 6 year old children. I love my job there, although it is only voluntary. I am looking forward to doing a course at college. I have also worked with the Down Syndrom children in a voluntary position and I worked on n Spain teaching 4 year old children basic English. It was lovely to see the children learn some basic numbers and colours in English. The classes were only twice a week for one hour at a time as some of the children were very young. I have a lovely reference I was given for the voluntary work I have done with the Education for Down Syndrom Society and my voluntary work in the same centre with the Tots Time. I still do voluntary child care work there.
I think all children are lovely. And im glad you have 3 lovely ones. I think I am good at child care simply because I love making children happy. I also enjoy teaching them.
