Danielle, professional childminder in Scarborough YO11

My name is Danielle . I am 20 years old and live in Scarborough. I currently work in a nursery as a supervisor of the 2-5 years room but have experience with 0-2 years also. I haven't worked there for 3 years now and in that time gained an NVQ level 2 and 3 in childcare along with first aid. I also have a qualifications for other courses such as food safety level 2, what it feels like to be two years old, treasure basket and sensory play and more. As well as working with children I also have a 4 year old brother who I like to spend my spare time with. I am looking for a more one-to-one career such as a babysitter or Nanny to help safeguard and promote a great future and the best start in life. I find it very rewarding to watch children grow and develop and like to monitor this. Some things I am responsible for are development checks, providing next steps to ensure we are always working forwards, planning activities and overall just being comfort for children and someone to rely on when in my care.
