Jodie, professional childminder : Scotland

I’m a 21 year old female, who loves to take on new challenges everyday. I like to meet my targets regardless how difficult some situations could be. I did childcare in West College Scotland for 1 year and completed it, I then moved onto Health and Social Care for 3 years and that’s me finally qualified, I baby sit family memebers quite a lot and I enjoy it a lot, so to get a job in something I would love doing would be great, I did baby sitting for a friend of a friend for over 2 years I was 18 until I was 20, 1 boy was aged 2 and the other was aged 7, in those day to day tasks it was a routine of helping with homework and making dinner for them both, running them a bath and then making sure they where settled and in bed by 7 o’clock, I did the house work everyday which resulted in cleaning, hoovering , doing the dishes etc. I also did work experience from my high school in a primary school called st Monica’s, I worked with primary 2 children, in my tasks I was made to make up their homework sheets, do story time with them, take them to the lunch hall.
