I have been a registered and insured home based child care provider for around ten years, with the added benefit of a NVQ level 3 and BETC level 3 in children's care, learning and development. Which I was awarded in 2010. I am graded Outstanding by Ofsted.
I have looked after many children from 4 months up to 19 years.

All about me
I am a single Mother, I have one son age 23 years which as currently at Bristol University , we live in a small flat in the borough within short walking distance of london bridge and Waterloo. We have a good sized communal garden which children can access to play on sunny days. Even thou I have a small kitchen I provide children the opportunity to take part in activities such as cooking and baking. My lounge is a place for quiet time, a place to do homework, relax and rest from busy days out, a place where we eat and do many arts and crafts.

I enjoy working with children and accepting them into my home, I aim to make them feel part of the family. I have been picking children up from The Cathedral school se1 for 19 years from caring for them as baby's - to nursery until they leave for secondary.

Children's needs are best met when the space and resources allow children to play and learn. My home environment is warm and welcoming to children and parents. I encourage all children in my setting to reach their potential through play, tracking them through the EYFS.
I make sure my home is a safe and secure place, with a space that is organized and use to promote children's development in a home from home environment.
Babies and young children that sleep during the day we sleep in a travel cot.

I use a system called babysdays which each parent has there own individual account for there child. I log all children's daily activities and routine. I also upload pictures so parents can see what there child is up to in the moment. Parents really love this system.
