Danielle, registered childminder in Hinckley LE10

Hi I'm Danielle :-)
I am 18 years of age and I have been working at Shooting Stars nursery since leaving school at the age of 16. I began work at Shooting Stars as an apprentice which allowed me to experience all of the rooms, first was babies which ranges from ages 3 months to around 15 months. I have also worked with pre toddlers (15-24 months), toddlers (2-3 years) and preschool. I am now a full time worker in the toddler room. Duties include planning and observing activities following the EYFS framework. Providing a safe but stimulating environment for the children at all times, changing nappies and also potty training. I have had experience with babies, sterilising objects and preparing bottles and also with preschool focusing on school transitions and beginning to look at early education. I feel comfortable and enjoy working with all ages. I see myself as a friendly confident young girl who has a lot to offer, I have had a passion for working with children for as long as I can remember, being bought up in a large family and helping babysit for my nieces and nephews as much as I can. I am willing to put my mind to anything and love a challenge! I am now currently looking for any type of child care work, whether it be a nanny, nursery nurse or a childminder. I believe as a care practitioner I always have the children's best interests at heart and aim to do this through my practice. I can form strong bonds with not only the children but the families as well, and am always willing to answer any questions they may have on their child's development.
