I am NVQ level 2 and NVQ level 3 qualified in childcare and have been on various training to extend my knowledge, for example: Personal, social and emotional development, Safeguarding children, Food Hygiene and First Aid. I have an enthusiastic attitude and I work hard to ensure good practice is demonstrated across all areas of the nursery, from planning quality activities, to communicating with all parents and liaising with other staff.
I have a strong understanding of the EYFS .I follow and implement the policies and procedures set out by the nursery and I also keep accurate administrative records of a child’s development and progress.
I have experience working with external agencies which have included physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and SENCO's.
I have experience with SEND as my brother-in-law was disabled and was PEG fed .I supported him by changing his dressing, using machines to put him on feed and massaging techniques to help with his breathing.
I am a hard working individual I can work under my own initiative or as part of a team under pressure or in a calm environment. I am able to follow day to day routines and follow plans and sharing my own ideas. I have a smart appearance. I attend work daily as I am full time; I am also a car owner.
