I am a NNEB qualified nanny and will be ofsted registered from September as a childminder.
I am currently enrolled in the childminding course after working as a nanny for the past 5 years. Before this I was a registered childminder from 2007-2010 and before that, a nanny from 1999!
I am looking to start childminding as soon as I am registered so hoping Ofsted won't take too long in signing me off.(course finished July 2016)
I have lots and lots of experience with babies and children and being a mummy myself makes me understand even more, the importance of brilliant childcare.
I live in a lovely quiet road in Staines with my husband and 2 gorgeous children (who also love babies and child company).
I have lots of nanny and childminder friends locally who I socialise with regularly at different playgroups, soft plays , playgrounds and other locations.
I am very hands on and love getting out and about.
I have previously worked in day nurseries, crèches and when qualifying for my NNEB, worked in hospitals and special schools.
I hope I am very friendly, approachable and easy to get on with. After looking after children for so many years (18) I find that the relationship with myself and the parents is paramount for happy children. With this in mind I will be keeping my numbers small so that I can concentrate on the children I have.
