Abbie, sitter in Aylsham NR11

I am 19 years old, and I am an aspiring midwife, currently studying at city college. I love looking after children and playing with them, I am an caring and empathetic person and have a responsible and mature attitude whilst also being playful with the children so that they have a good time. I have four years of childcare experience with three children one of which was six months old at the time of starting meaning I have experience with diaper changes and bottle feeding. I have worked for this family though these 4 years and have worked to adapt to their needs as they have grown up and their needs have changed. As the 3 kids are all varying ages I have been able to develop skills making sure all their needs are met and that no-one feels left out. I have a safe, professional and caring attitude, making sure the children are well-looked after and safe and feel happy and comfortable. I always make sure to okay with the children and make sure they have plenty of fun, whilst being safe and responsible. This leads to a nice friendly environment. I have a good relationship with the parents of the three children and we communicate effectively keeping the children’s best wishes in mind. I took an level 2 early years childcare course but unfortunately had to drop out near the end due to illness but still have all the knowledge from the course. As part of this I did an nursery placement.
