Aimee, sitter in Barnsley

I am a 27 year old female and my name is Aimee. I am friendly and at first quiet, but am outgoing and a cheerful character. I am always doing the best i can for people, friends, family and am always on hand for babysitting, not so much for fanily anymore as i moved 100 miles aeay but do make occasional trips to give my sister andher partner time together.
I have babysat from the age of 15. I completed one week of work experience in a kindergarten in a class of 2-3 year olds which i thoroughly enjoyed, and went on to babysit for neighbours children. Mainly a 3 year ild and a 10 year ild and tasks included taking the 3 year old to nursery and collecting, helping both with homework, cooking meals and cleaning the house. Even overnight stays as the Mum started drinking late and artiving home early hours or not at all. From then i started looking aftr my nephew when he was born and having him stay overnight regularly. Again tasks included taking him to and from nursery/school, cooking meals, helping with homework. Then my disabled niece was born 2 years later. I spent a lot of time in hospital with my sister, learning how to care for niece. From nasal tube feeding to peg feeding/cleaning, using a suction machine etc. She was diagnosed with Aicardi syndrome which means part of her brain is missing making her inable to function much. She is 10 years old and cannot sit up unaided, or talk. She is like a newborn baby. But i gained alot of knowledge and experience is helping to care for her. My sister went on to have a further 3 children again all of whom i have cared for. Since moving to Barnsley i have made another friend whos daughter i also look after. She is 18months old and i enjoy taking her for days out as well as having her stay over at mine as and when i like or when she ries to come home for me or when her mum wants some time to herself. Tasks include meals, clothes washing, bathing, bedtime routine.
I enjoy soending time with children and always have. Im a calm person with a lot of patience and i think that is a big need in being around children!
I have no qualifications in this sector but a lot of knowledge from hands on experience. Im an active fit 27 year old too so can join in on lots of games.
