I have always been very interested and keen in learning childcare and I always knew I wanted a career in these fields of work I have applied to college to study at HNC level this year and have a conditional offer depending on my higher results I am waiting to receive. My Aunt runs a after school club where I work I love interacting with the children and organising arts and crafts and challenging games I also babysit for my cousin who has two small children and have done this for 2 years I have just sent away my PVG application and should have this back soon I also have a full UK driving licence and my own Vehicle I am a non smoker.

I enjoy interacting with people and feel confident in my approach, I am a 6th year school leaver, I really enjoy school and it has helped me to develop strong communication skills. I pride myself on being reliable, punctual and always trying my hardest. I am also very willing to learn and I adapt quickly to new skills.

My school education in administration and maths has proven that I am driven to succeed, consistently gaining new skills and taking on extra responsibility. I believe that it is my fundamental ambition, dedication and meticulous attention to detail that will ensure that I continue progressing professionally and pushing myself to perform to the same high standard in this, more challenging role.

My hobbies include socialising with my friends, going to the cinema and spending time with my family. I like listening to music and enjoy lots of different types of music. At present a good deal of my free time is spent studying for my exams and volunteering at my local junior football ground helping my gran and papa with a private catering business. This involved helping out at football matches and local clubs, I had to serve people tea, coffee and food. I then had to clean up afterwards and tidy away any rubbish that was left. This shows I am able to work to a routine and I am motivated to find employment.

My biggest achievement is being part of a volunteering group within school. It was run by the campus police officer and the reason for the group was to help the community and do good things. The activities we covered were litter picks, painting over graffiti, making our local train station look better and baking and entertaining for the elderly in care homes around our community.
