My name is Rosie and I'm 15 years of age, soon to be 16 (2015) and I have looked after both male and female children, with and without HDHD, looking after children comes naturally to me and I feel that I can connect with their feelings well. I studied child development and currently study health and social care. I can provide a CV if necessary. I would prefer to work on weekends however I can work Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays as well as long as weekdays are out of schooling hours for me. I'm a flexible person and very outgoing, being a teenager can be worrying for a lot of parents however I am very mature and sensible and feel as though children at a younger age than myself should strive to be the best at everything they do. I have been brought up as an only child although I live in an area surrounded by children running around. Although I like to be friendly towards the children, I can teach them right from wrong sternly and teach them good life skills. I qualified for an NVQ in life skills when I was 12. I attend plenty of sporting activities such as athletics, netball and I enjoy generally keeping fit. Since I have been in secondary school I have been determined to find work, I'm currently a waitress in a small cafe and my expertise is greeting customers with a smile. I prefer to babysit children under 10 years, and I am able to help with homework. As the parents I hope you can see some good qualities, although I may still be a teenager I can relate to children on a much deeper level, as a good listener I understand what I'm asked of as a babysitter and I can do what is asked of me. I have a variety of different skills for different families and religion, race and sexuality is of no matter to me. I treat everyone equally and I respect people for who they are. I feel as though I can help children develop social and intellectual skills for their futures ahead because that's what really matters, their future. I can make boring evenings/days fun without the use of technology, you just need imagination.
Thanks you.
Occasional babysitting | $7.00 per hour |
I believe that anything over £7-£10 is a ridiculous amount to charge unless I was staying for a whole night. To babysit children isn't rocket science and therefore shouldn't be paid as though it is.
