Xinlei, sitter - BB7 Clitheroe

My name is Xinlei, and I am a 16 year old female student whom has just finished my GCSES and will be starting sixth form in early September.

I have a very long summer hence I would like to use the time wisely. I babysit my little sister (8) everyday and do various things around the house to help.

Some examples of my babysitting tasks include :
1. Helping with her homework (year3),
2. Cooking basic dishes,
3.Picking her up / dropping off to things like ballet,
4. Helping her with piano/ her Mandarin homework,
5. Playing with her - basically just being there for her as both a sister and a friend!

I do it for free as these are things any sister should do, but for this long summer I wanted to do the same things, and get paid to make some income.

Some household tasks I do include:
1. Hoovering the whole house
2. Scrubbing the bath tub clean
3. Wiping down surfaces (eg the tv/ coffee table/ piano)
4. Washing clothes - my mum makes me hand wash all my clothes (however I could probably be taught how to use a washing machine!)
5. Hand washing dishes (once again I could be taught to use a dishwasher if that is preferred!)

I would be happy to help with any chores if necessary as long as they’re not too gross (like cleaning the toilet!)

As well as the typical babysitting, I am also happy to help with schoolwork - or even solely be hired to be a tutor.

I am a very bubbly, cheery and fun person. I have a memorable character and will bring laughter and joy into your house! I get along well with kids as I love them, and I’m very good at breaking the ice with them quickly.

I would consider myself a very tidy, efficient, polite, hardworking and trustworthy individual, and also a good role model for children.

I am able to become a great friend of any kid so I’m sure your child will easily be very comfortable around me! For example, I hosted my sister’s recent birthday party and befriended all her friends within one hour.

I am available for the majority of summer as I am not going abroad (I may be going to Ireland however). I am able to start babysitting as soon as possible.

Please keep in mind that occasionally I may have to look after my own sister.

I cannot do any overnight babysitting, but I am happy to do afterschools and weekends/ date nights etc. As I’m currently on my summer break I can also pick up your children from school if necessary - and if you really require it I can also take them to school in the morning (though that may be difficult as I tend to sleep in!)

I truly hope that I seem like a reliable and honest person I promise that I will do an excellent job at being a babysitter, and only provide the very best services for you and your family possible!

I also wanted to note that I am only interested in doing this job for the summer. I begin sixth form in very early September, hence it’ll be very demanding - I will have less time to babysit. However, I will still be happy to do the occasional weekend!
