I am a mother, grandmother (a young one!). I have completed An Applied Social Sciences Degree. My 3 children are adults. I am happy to be flexible either babysitting, nannying.
I have experience with all ages from Newborn to adult. As well, my own children, I have extensive family experience as the eldest of 7 siblings and I currently have 19 nieces/nephews. In 2004/5 I was a nanny for a 6-year girl who was a keen gymnast. I also regularly babysat twin boys (with their older sibling). I have a of experience in arranging birthday parties. I have also worked with adults with learning difficulties and as a PA/Carer for people in their own homes.
I enjoy cooking and baking. I also love the outdoors, walks, fresh air and I enjoy playing games and doing jigsaws with children. My hobby is craft and I enjoy making and creating with children. I have a full clean driving licence have done food hygiene course.
I have a cat allergy so unfortunately can't work in a home with cats. (Dogs are fine - I have a dog).
I have extensive childcare experience including caring for twins and several children with Aspergers, Autism and ADHD. I’m an approved local authority Foster Carer and have therefore undergone a through vetting process. Additionally I am always updating and extending my skills by completing additional (optional) training.
