Roise, sitter - BT36 Glengormley

I'm Roise. Im currently 17 years old. I just left school, I was studying my first year of A levels but decided to leave school around the end of May. Since then I have applied for tech and plan on studying a 90 credit diploma in Health and Social Care. At the end of this, I will continue my further education and complete a HND in the same subject. After I leave education, I want to work with special needs children or adults. I have various experience working with people who have disabilities. I believe this experience will help me to look after children as I have dealt with some people who have very complex needs. Many of the skills I have learnt in this area of work are transferable to childcare. I also have experience of looking after my younger cousins and helping my friends to babysit their siblings. I also babysit occasionally to one of my neighbours. I am a very caring person and it is very important to me that anyone in my care feels that all their needs have been met. I enjoy doing all that I can for someone. I am a quick learner and very open minded, I always try to think outside the box to solve any problems or difficulties I may face. Family and friends have described me as patient and gentle, qualities I think could be useful as a childcarer. I'm very interested in languages and I love travelling. My hobbies include playing piano and swimming. I am a fully ensured driver and will have my R plates off by November 2016. I'm not a great cook but I'm happy to do any cleaning that needs done.
