I'm a kind and caring 19 year old women who is currently studying counselling at university, I have a strong passion to help others and love working with children and seeing them grow and progress as their own independent little people.
I have experience working with children through volunteer work, I worked in a nursery for a few weeks where I was placed in the baby room for half the time and the 2-3 year old room the other half. While there I also ran activities with the children, whether that be painting with vegetable shapes, or jigsaw puzzle work while also assessing their expanding skills. I thoroughly enjoyed this and also volunteered at my local brownies for a year. I do have family members, nieces and cousins, who are young and I adore them and have loved looking after them.
I would say I am extremely trustworthy and reliable, I hope my choice of degree alone reflects how much I care about others and the type of person I am. During my school days I was and still am committed to helping whoever I could, I volunteered to go read at my local infant school every Friday afternoon. Myself along with three other girls had the title and responsibility of being charity coordinators, we organised a variety of events. One I am most proud of is through the money we raised in a comical show for students, performed by others in my year, we organised an amazing winter wonderland Christmas party for a local school for children with learning difficulties among other issues.
