My name is Keren I’m 19 and have five years experiences in childcare. In my current job I look after a terminally ill disabled girl full time and have done for the past year and a half, my second job i work for a family who have two children I have them some weekends or evenings but no set hours.
I also have a one year old niece who I have looked after for a period of time every week since she’s been born, I have a range of experience from newborns to as old as 17(the young girl I care for in my main job is 17). I was dbs checked at my college two years ago however am currently in process of getting that renewed, I studied health and social care at Chelmsford college and am currently studying psychology at open uni. I have been part of safeguarding courses and first aid courses over the last four years.
