Cara, sitter - CW9 Marston

My name is Cara an I am 25 years of age. I started babysitting at the age of 15 and knew very early on that childcare was my calling. I attended the Uuniversity of Chester and graduated with a Bachelor Degree with honours in Psychology and Education studies. Whilst attending university, I started as a playworker in Warrington. I absolutely loved my time in this position, which involved planning and preparing activities daily for the children in the setting. I left this job to travel around Asia for 8 months, which was incredible and provided me with life skills that have proved invaluable. On my return to the UK, I became manager at another link club in Warrington. I managed a team of 6 members of staff, and cared for 60 children daily. The highlight of this job was getting involved and creating a fun, safe and engaging setting in which the children could learn and develop through play. I am extremely passionate about children and truly believe that childcare is what I was born to do. I am easy going, fun, confident and very patient.
