My name is Laura
I have an 8 year old girl and a baby boy
I teach Irish dancing on a Thursday and Friday for a deprived area, s these children can enjoy a sport, socialise and make friends and not worry about the cost.

I have experience in basic makaton, behaviour, mainstream school, special needs school, behaviour management.I have extensive experience within the Nursery setting having worked at Sunflower Nursery for 8 years. I am very experienced in customer service, explaining intensively to parents what they need to work on with their child to help them in their development.

I have recently updated my SENCO training, which has enabled me to secure SCARF funding for a child. I have attended LIFT meetings with completed paperwork.

I have strong work ethics with good attention to detail and am self-motivated to achieve high performance standards and meet expectations of the Nursery and Government Standards.

The experience I have has helped me develop my skills with respect to empathy, patience and understanding and responding to the needs of the individual in a caring but professional manner. I am calm and confident in my ability in dealing with unforeseen circumstances, parent and carers and Social Services.

I am reliable, flexible and adapt well to change. It is imperative that I implement a non-discriminatory and non-judgmental approach to each day.

I am a firm but fair colleague with integrity, honesty and a sense of proportion at all times as well as a good team player, a 'can-do' attitude and an appropriate sense of humour!
