I have recently finished my A levels and I am in search of some baby sitting jobs. Being the eldest of a very large family has enabled me to gain a lot of experience when it comes to baby sitting children from 6months and above.

I have gained a lot of skills in this field including.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good skills for handling and caring for children without the presence of their parents
Patience
Ability to control and manage the children effectively
Skilled in changing nappies and feeding young children
Ability to calm and take action when emergencies may occur
Good at keeping the children engaged by playing and talking to them
Playful attitude and great sense of humour

Many of these skills I have gained from other jobs as well as baby sitting. I have previously worked part time in retail, waiting and beauty cosmetics.

Having an A level in health as social care has also taught me many rules and legislation I must follow when baby sitting such as the Childrens Act 2009, Childcare Act 2004 to Safeguarding children 2007.
