Hello there, my name is Nevielle . I am an 18 year-old Sociology and Politics student at the University of Glasgow, originally from Liverpool.
Having just moved here in September, I'm currently looking for a job to support myself whilst at University, and personally, I can't think of a better way to work than with children.
Although I may not have any qualifications to prove my skills with children, I am an auntie of four, and have been supporting my siblings through seven years of sleepless nights, nappies and toddler tantrums. Whilst my ad may not appear all that impressive compared to the hundreds of qualified professionals on the site, I believe a natural maternal instinct cannot be shown on a piece of paper, and it is something I certainly have.
Back in Liverpool I would regularly care for my nieces and nephews, two boys and two girls aged 6 months - 7 years. This included regularly taking/picking up my nephew from nursery, sometimes as often as three times a week, making tea (for a very fussy eater!), taking him to bed, along with an array of other responsibilities that come with regular childcare.
I like to think I am prepared for pretty much anything and I greatly appreciate that often, taking care of children is not all that glamorous. However, it is the loveliest responsibility one can have, and I would be honored if you were to consider me as a potential babysitter.
Occasional babysitting | $6.00 per hour |
£5.30 is the national minimum wage and, although I would be happy to take this rate, the chances are that babysitting will require some travelling, as I live in the city centre, and so the increase would be due to travelling expenses.
No recommendations yet, soon it will be your turn?
