Sarah, sitter in Great baddow CM2

Hello, my name is Sarah .
I am experienced in looking after children from the age of 2-4 in a professional setting (Nursery school) as part of my college course which is Level 3 Childcare. At my current college placement working in a primary school I am working with children from the age of 6-7 years.
In the past I have been a regular babysitter to friends of the family. Looking after children from the ages of 6 months- 11 years and I am able to provide references for this.
I have also been able to build a good rapport with the children that I have looked after as I think they can sense that I enjoy the company of children and this helps them to build up a trust in me.
In the nursery school part of my responsibility was to set up activities of all sorts including making play dough, making gloop, paint/drawing area, also setting up the outdoor area so it was suitable to the children. I would also arrange the children's snack for them each day. At the primary school I set up literacy and numeracy activities each day and also I have each child read to me at least once a day.
I feel that baby sitting would be a good job for me because of my experience of looking after children and also it is relevant to my college course.
