I am a mature young adult who likes to work independently and as part of team as I enjoy working with different ages of people. I'm confident, helpful and an active listener. If I don't understand what is being asked of me, I will ask enough questions to expand my understanding. I use my initiative always and in every situation; when I'm put in a difficult situation I'm good at problem solving. I'm self motivated to get a job done and able to throw myself in at the deep end, in addition to this I'm quick to learn new skills but also keen to improve my skills.
When I was in year 7 at Broadoak I got elected to be a class rep. This was to represent my class for the whole academic year. I had to ask the class on multiple occasions what they thought needed to change at the school and how this could happen, we then had to feed this back to our head of year.
During my time at Priory Community I participated in the school rounders team and we become county champions of North Somerset. I attended each rounders session every week up until the end of the rounder's season.
When I was studying level 2 child care I became a college ambassador for the whole year, I had to attend many college events such as college interviews. This was an opportunity to show new possible students around the college and give them an outstanding and positive review of why they should study at Weston College.
