Thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Charlotte and I am 20 years old. I have over 4 years experience with children and have worked in a variety of different settings. I feel confident in caring for children of all ages, and I have experience caring for new-borns.

Qualifications:

NVQ level three in childcare
First aid qualified
Driving licence (for over two years)
11 GCSE'S A*-C

Experience:

SI5 Spy Missions:

I worked at Spy Missions for three and a half years, and filled various roles within the company. To start with I was a guide, which means I groups of 6+ children around on a pretend mission to 'save the world'. While doing this I had to ensure the safety of the children while they were running and climbing around while also making it a fun and enjoyable experience.

I then worked in the kitchen to provide food for hungry agents! This particular role could be quite challenging as I had to ensure the food met EHO standards, and went out on time. I have a excellent understanding of food hygiene and can work under pressure and to a time limit.

I then worked as a receptionist to greet parties/take bookings, organise the groups going into the game play area, and deal with any complaints.

Klas Day Nursery:

I worked as a nursery nurse for almost two years, and this is where I trained for my NVQ. Here I learnt how to plan and monitor a child's development and to provide a variety of activities for large numbers of children. I also have an excellent understanding of safeguarding children and providing a variety of activities to help children develop vital skills.

Nanning (in the UK and Australia):

I have been a nanny for a year and a half now, and I have gained valuable experience in caring for children in a home based setting. My duties included taking children to/from their activities, participating in swimming lessons with a one year old, cooking and preparing food, cleaning up children's bedrooms, Ironing children clothes, and just general day to day activities.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my jobs and have learnt great skills from them. I believe I can provide a high standard of care for your children. Now, for a little about myself: I'm 20 years old and have recently come back from travelling the world (six months of which I was Nanning in Australia). I have now started university and I'm studying psychology with child development. In my spare time I like to horse ride, volunteer (I use to volunteer in Northampton hospital), socialise, and read. I'm looking for around 16 hours a week, and I'm free all day Wednesdays, Fridays, and the weekends. I may also be able to work Tuesdays and Thursdays, but it depends on the times.
