Hello! My name is Sophie and I'm 19 years old. I am currently living at home for the summer before I go back to university in September.

I am studying Primary Education, training to become a primary school teacher. I have been involved in a lot of voluntary work over the past few years, including 2 years in a local brownie pack with a group of 7-10 year old girls.

I also took part in an 8 week placement from December 2015 - February 2016 in a primary school teaching a Year 1 class. I have good communication with children and have a fun, bubbly personality! I am able to entertain children and teach children at the same time. I love to learn and love reading books, I especially love reading to young children.

Teaching the year 1 class during my placement shows that I am responsible, reliable and professional. I also know how to be patient with children but at the same time know when to be authoritive. I also am flexible for work hours.
