My name is Emily and I am currently an A Level student at Taverham High School. My subjects include; Sociology, Media Studies, and Health & Social Care.

My future plans include working within the NHS, specifically, with children, so I believe that gaining plenty of experience with children is important and will help me before I pursue this career. I have multiple younger relatives who I have cared for in the past and have developed many skills; such as the ability to communicate well with children In order to understand their needs. I have also developed additional skills such as cooking and cleaning which I think are vital when caring for children as their diet and living environment is crucial to their health and ability to learn similar things in the future.

GCSE wise, I have a C grade in child development where I specifically learned about the development of children from birth to the age of 6. this helped me a lot as this age is extremely important as they are developing their own skills such as language and fine and gross motor skills.
