Megan, sitter in Hereford

Hi, my name is Megan and I am nineteen years old. I am looking for a babysitting job for evenings or occasional weekends. I am currently working at a hotel in Hereford where I am a waitress and house keeper. I really enjoy this and plan on remaining there. However I would love to help parents/guardians out on occasion as I love working with children. I am very responsible and mature alongside having a very bubbly personality and lots of energy. I have some experience in baby sitting, including caring for two girls (a five and twelve year old) for a friend of my mother's. I have looked after a family friend's six year old son and I have also done a very small amount of babysitting for a past employer's ten week old baby. Previously during babysitting hours I have encouraged the children to complete any tasks warranted (brushing teeth, doing homework) before having fun, for example playing games or taking part in arts and crafts. I volunteered at a horse riding stable for three years, where I was working with children a lot. Duties included helping the children with their protective equipment, helping them mount the ponies and then leading them either around the arena or out on the country roads. I understand it must be a tough procedure looking for somebody to care for your child so am very happy to talk to or meet with families before taking further action on job roles.
