Skye, sitter in Kilmarnock KA3

Hi, I'm skye and I'm 17years old. I'm currently in 6th year at grange academy. After completing my year at grange I would like to go onto study social work at college for a year and then onto uni for the next 3 years.

I'm looking for after school babysitting during the week or weekends. After the 26th of May I will be finished school!

I currently volunteer at a pathfinders club which is an all boys club. The activities which are involved are playing games, break and story time. The club is to allow the boys to make new friends and enjoy themselves. (More info in CV)

I also volunteer as a befriender and I'm currently waiting to be placed with a match. The befriending programme is run by vibrant comminutes and is to help build a trusting relationship with someone who is in need of a befriender. After I am matched with a child, I will meet every week with them to gain a trusting relationship and try to help them out.

I am also going to be completing a first aid course and a child protection course.

I hold a driving licence and my own transport.

I really love babysitting as I find it enjoyable to build a friendship with the younger ones. I enjoy playing games and reading stories before bed. I have got babysitting experience and references can be given if required.

I help out with my younger brothers ages 9 + 15. And I babysit for another family with children aged 2, 6, 8. I make them dinner (depending on time of starting) I play games with them and carry out activities they would like e.g drawing etc. Or watch a movie. Then I carry out their bedtime routine which involves teeth brushing and story time. Another family I babysit for have kids aged 7+14 and again I carry out the same for them and follow their parents night routines etc.
