Hello, my name is Madeleine and I'm currently at university in my first year studying psychology as I hope to work as a child psychologist in the future. I have always had a passion for caring for children and I'm very interested in their developmental stages.

My hobbies include creative things such as colouring, drawing, making soft toys etc. I've always been a creative person. I also love caring for animals and children (I currently work for a childcare agency where I'm placed at nurseries as a nursery assistant in university holidays). I love seeing the children develop and learn through play, I find it fascinating how quickly they can learn new things and use all their senses to experience different things.

I truly care about the children and will ensure they are safe at all times and are comfortable and happy whilst in my care. I'm committed to giving the child and their family the best care I can.

I have been working for a childcare agency since last August where I'm placed in different nurseries as a nursery assistant so I am familiar with children's routines and with healthy meals and how thy can learn through play. I also have knowledge in the early years foundation stage (EYFS). I mainly have experience in the under 5's, especially with children under 2 as I'm mainly placed in babies and teenies rooms.

In addition I have also done babysitting work in the past from when I was 14 for family friend's children.
