Amity, sitter in Liverpool L8

Hi, my name is Amity and I am an experienced and responsible childcare worker. I have two children of my own who are 11 and 6, one of which has SEND needs and have worked with children for over 15 years in various professional capacity. I am currently employed part time in a nursery and I'm completing a master's degree in early childhood. I have experience working with very young babies right through to teenagers and feel confident in maintaining safe and appropriate environments and activities. I am respectful to parents wishes and beliefs and have a good understanding of the variety of backgrounds families may come from. I have good experience of working with children with disabilities and SEN needs and I am makaton trained. I have also completed courses in baby massage, play therapy, phonics training, EAL training and I am fully paediatric first aid trained. I enjoy encouraging the children I work with to get active and play games with me including singing and dancing and I have lots of energy to play with the children I care for.
