I have worked with children of many ages for over 3 years now; however, as I am only 16 years old, I find that I am often popular with the children as they find me relatable and approachable with being closer to their age than some more traditional Nannies.
I work with Kip McGrath as a Student Helper, and I am therefore well practised in tutoring, and I am willing and able to tutor younger children in a wide range of subjects; particularly English and Maths.
This role also means that I am DBS checked.
I volunteer weekly with both Scouts and Cubs, and have done this since 2014, therefore I am very used to keeping children of ages 11-14 and 8-10 busy and entertained. I am also used to completing risk assessments, and I am well aware of what is acceptable to say and do around children.
I am a Grade 7 Pianist and a Grade 6 Violinist, and I mentor on violin for the Lincolnshire Youth County Orchestra. I would be willing to help with any musical questions, and would be willing to teach basics to younger children.
I have experience looking after babies and toddlers within my own family, and I am able to feed babies from the bottle and I can also read to children and put them to bed.
I also have a certificate in First Stage First Aid with St Johns Ambulance service, and I have been through a 6 hour medical training course within scouting.
