Hello, my name is Rawan love working with young children and have lots of experience working with them!

· I worked at Montpelier primary school from 9AM- 5:00 for 2 weeks as part of my school work experience program. My day usually consisted in helping children in years 5 and 6 with Math’s related problem solving or mentoring in the mornings; and helping out the younger years with phonics and literacy as well as basic numeracy skills during the afternoons. After the school day was over I volunteered at the after school club, where I would often lead team bonding based activities with a mixture of children ranging from the ages of 6-11 for an hour after school.

• At Walton firs activity canter I was trained to help deliver many different activities including caving, climbing, crate stacking, archery and shooting. This required me to attended an extensive first aiding course beforehand because I was left in charge of young children who were taking part in activities which had a potential hazard for being dangerous. I have attended defibrillator training which very useful as it can reduce the risk of death to a person suffering from a cardiac arrest by 10%. I also know how to perform effective CPR, how to treat minor and severe bleeding, how to manage an emergency, and how to treat burns.

• I have also been a sports leader for two years where I was trained to take part in the panathlon challenge many times which is charity that provides sporting opportunities to over 10, 000 disabled young people every year.

• For the past 3 years I have been helping out at my local scouts group where I would organize and lead activities for the children ranging from the ages of 6-12
