Christopher, sitter in Paisley

My name is Christopher Lock, I originally come from Livingston and have moved to Paisley to study Law and Business at the university. I come from a large family who all stay close to one another so it has became second nature for me to look after my many cousins and invite them on days out with me.

I'm a very sociable person and can make a good connection with anyone I meet which is important when caring for children as the right approach is always key to a good relationship. My mum is a social worker and my Granny a foster carer so I have a great deal of knowledge about how children should be cared for appropriately.

I feel passionate about teaching as knowledge is power and passing it on is valuable for children to blossom. I obtained 6 highers at ST Margaret's Academy and an Intermediate 2 qualification in french so I have basic french speaking skills. Another of my passions is music, I have played the guitar for 6 years and have taught my little sister (13) how to play from a young age.

I am enthusiastic and positive in everything I do and will project that onto the children I'm caring for to motivate them and make them feel comfortable in my care. I enjoy to make children laugh and enjoy themselves however I can be stern where needed with a laid back approach to resolving any disputes. Organisation and punctuality are very important to me as well as appearance and manner.

I stay in a flat with my girlfriend who works in Paisley and spend most of my nights going on walks, cooking dinner or running my girlfriend a bath for getting in for work. I enjoy working out and eating new healthy foods. Travelling has became a large part of my life and I enjoy sharing stories of adventures.

I have currently just completed the second year of my degree and am looking for a rewarding role in a family's life where I can help out as much as possible and become a family friend in the process.
