My name is Emily and I am 20 years old. I adore children and I love being around them. I have no professional experience yet but I have always looked after younger family members, especially over the past few years since my nephews were born. I have looked after them as newborns and as they grow up (the oldest is 3). My partner also has a child of his own who is 4 years old now, he stays with us every weekend.
Helping a child learn new things is the main thing I love, so the types of activities I practice with are beneficial in some way or form.
I've helped with potty training, teaching colours, numbers, the alphabet and many other things. I have always had a passion for arts and crafts so I try to use this to my advantage and get hands on with the kids and use our imaginations.
I believe that every child deserves love and nurture (of course discipline when required) and I'm looking forward to be able to help out!

Explanation:

I am just starting out as a babysitter (though I do have plenty of experience) so I wouldn't like to charge a full professional price. I will be taking first aid courses and likely go back into education to become a better sitter. I understand the need for sitters and that it is generally very expensive so I feel it is a fair rate to charge.
