Olivia, sitter in Sheffield

Hi, I'm Olivia and I am a student at Sheffield Hallam University. I do not have any experience babysitting as of yet, however I am very keen to gain some.

I am looking to do some babysitting and would be comfortable looking after children of any age. I am also willing to work any evening until late and at short notice. However, I rely on public transport and walking, so depending on the distance, I will need notice to allow me to arrive on time.

I have previously worked as a gymnastics coach for 3 years, so although I do not have experience in directly caring for children, the time I have spent coaching both boys and girls of various ages has enabled me to understand children better, in particular some of the activities they enjoy doing.

I would be more than willing to assist with any housework and I would do my best to help with any homework given to the children. I personally enjoy watching children's TV programmes and playing children's games and I have spent time doing so with my cousin's daughter who is 3.

In the future I would like to become a teacher, this is why I would like to gain as much experience with children as I can, especially whilst I have spare time at university.
