I am an Edge Hill University student studying Primary Education with QTS. As a result of this I have spent a lot of time around children on placement and learning about their development and behavior management strategies. I have also learnt many fun and educational games and activities to play with children ages 4-11, which can be adapted to suit the needs of younger or older children.

I have experience in babysitting within my family on regular occasions, as well as volunteering in a nursery while at school. Another voluntary placement was at the charity Banardo's.
When volunteering in Barnardo's Bradbury House, key duties included supervising and engaging with children with specific learning difficulties, this required empathy, people skills and patience to understand the young person and their needs. I also observed workshops regarding EHC plans and participated in groups with young people who are or have been looked after.

I am a friendly and approachable young adult who enjoys making children smile.
