I am 23 years old, studying towards a degree in Photography at Plymouth College of Art. I have five years voluntary experience as a classroom assistant, working primarily with nursery age children. I also have experience of working in the 'baby room' of nurseries, which is more hands on in terms of childcare - snack time and nap time were my favourite parts of the day! Childcare is a profession that runs in my family; while I have no formal qualifications, I have a natural flair for being with children and I love getting to know their individual personalities, seeing them grow, and seeing things from their unique perspective.
I am definitely not afraid to be a little silly! Be it singing, dancing, painting, cooking, or otherwise being energetic and messy - but I do have a small fear of trampolines so while I'll give it a go I can't promise I'll be doing backflips! I can help with schoolwork too, and have great domestic skills, so things like ironing school uniform or hoovering spilled coco pops are well within my abilities.
