I am a teen boy who loves working with children and helping out around the house. My nan is one of sixteen so I have a pretty big family with all different ages of children and all different personality types; being one of the oldest I am tasked with looking after most of them. Because I have all this experience from caring for family members I think that I would be able to connect with children I a caring for and make sure they enjoy their time whilst I am caring for me.

Another benefit I think I bring is the fact that I have completed both primary and secondary school. This helps me with two different aspects of care:
First of all, I can help with all levels of homework and help the children in their education.
Secondly, I understand modern school life and can help children with their problems and talk to them on a level that they will relate to.

I have experiences with all types of entertainment for children, I can play video games, board games, or even just games in the garden - I have an understanding of what is age appropriate and whether or not a child should be doing things they ask my permission for.
