Hi, my name's Alex and I am a second year Biochemistry student at the University of York. I am currently saving up money to go and volunteer for a couple of months in Fiji in the summer of 2020 so am trying to get some extra income inbetween my hectic uni timetable but also not a huge amount of hours a week. I am just looking for some occassional babysitting work with any age of child, I haven't got any qualified experience but I love children and have looked after my nieces and nephew occassionally (ages 6-10). I have a car in York so would be able to pick-up/drop-off if required from school etc and I could also help with homework and play games with them etc.

Friends who have babysat children occasionally have been paid around £10 an hour but that was agreed with the family so I wouldn't be willing to charge that amount especially because of my lack of qualified experience.
