I'm Amy , i am 18 years old and currently studying at college. In september i plan on continuing education at university studying a 3 year special needs teaching course. I am extremely passionate about becoming a special needs primary school teacher as i have an older brother with down syndrome and autism and i would love nothing more than working every day with children with special needs. As well as this i have 3 nephews and 1 niece aged 0-5 years old, i help my brothers out with childcare quite often. I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews as i am very family orientated and love to help whenever i can. I enjoy taking them on days out to the park or even staying at home doing arts and crafts or watching DVD' s. I have an amazing relationship with my niece and nephews. Also for 2 years i have been doing placement once a week. My first placement was in a mainstream primary school and my second placement is currently in a special needs primary school. I thoroughly enjoyed both these placement and learned a lot of skills.
