Helloo,
My names Rachel, I am 24 years old. I drive my own car.
Professionally, I have been (and still am) working in a primary school as an early years teaching assistant since January 2018. I have a level 3 national extended diploma in Children’s play learning and development. I have completed level 1 safeguarding, I am paediatric first aid trained and have completed extra courses in local programmes such as Stoke Speaks out, Prevent training, Epi pen training, and diabetic training (on a 1:1 basis.)
Personally, I come from a very close family. I believe family is very important, I also believe that when looking after a child that they deserve to be treated like a family member too (which is why I always end up crying every July time when the children I work with move up to the next year haha) . I am a dog lover for sure, I have a dog called Milo. I volunteer for a community group providing local events for children. I love to cook. I enjoy doing crafty activities with children and being creative. I am an aunt, I have 2 nieces and 4 nephews whose ages range from 2 right through to 11 so I do have experience with all ages.
I know parents have such busy lives so i hope to make that a little bit easier, a friendly face for the children but also an outside ear for parents if they just need a bit of a rant at times. I think we could all do with that. I believe that a good positive relationship between a babysitter, carer, nanny (or any of the above) and a parent is so important.
Occasional babysitting | $11.00 per hour |
I feel that £11 is a fair rate to charge when you’re trusting somebody to look after your pride and joy. I also think that it does cover travel expenses etc.
