I have an outgoing personality and enjoy meeting people. I have recently finished my college course in health and social care. I am looking for a part time job, that would help me with my experience with children. I work well as a team player yet am confident while working alone. I am willing to learn new skills and pride myself in working to a high professional level.

During my course i did a year place working with young adult with mental and physical disabilities at Freespace Edinburgh. Some of the task I was involved in doing were personal care, making sure home was clean and bed were made. I also had to make sure the individual attend daily activities and that they are kept occupied. I also had to ensure that i plan activities in advance with the young peoples.

I also did a moving and handling training with both Freespace and the college. I am also familiar with personal planning, rule and regulations , health and safety procedures. I also had the opportunity in working with a lot of different health care professionals such as GP, speech and language therapist, nurses, nutritionist and social worker.

I am very caring, motivated, enthusiastic and approachable. I am able to work under pressure and always try my very best to produce a high quality of work. I very organised and flexible with my hours and also keep to my deadlines. I have an excellent time management skills and takes the rules of safety very seriously as I understand that these guidance are their to keep me and the individual safe at all times.
