Hi, I'm Rebekah, I'm currently 18 and studying at college doing level 3 childcare, which I will have completed in the next few weeks. I have done two placements, one in a nursery working with children from 6 months to 4 years, and another at a primary school working with children 4-7 years. I have also done 4 weeks voluntary work at a toddler group, duties include: preparing and serving snacks, helping carry out activities, baking, creative activities, etc. I currently hold GCSE grade B in maths and English, and also have experience planning activities for children 6 months to 7 years, for different developmental areas and ability levels.
I have good communication skills with a range of different people, with a variety of different cultures, religions and lifestyles, and have had experience with children with allergies and intolerances. I have also had training in observing and planning for children with different abilities in all subject areas, and also have some experience working with children with disabilities.
I have many hobbies, I currently do morris dancing at a local community centre and have done for the last 8 years. I also enjoy running from time to time, and even completed the 5k Race for Life in Leigh last year. I also like to listen to music and hang out with friends and my boyfriend.
