I am a friendly, approachable person who is enthusiastic about developing new skills. I have a positive attitude and can adapt to demands of different roles. I love to interact with people, especially children. I feel I am a calm individual who is firm but fair in my approach. I have previous experience of working with Primary School children (aged 5-7) engaging them in reading tasks and providing support throughout all subject areas. I gained this experience by working as a voluntary classroom assistant at my mums primary school, where she held a full time teaching position as a Year 1/2 teacher for 6 years. I can use my own initiative to approach and manage the situation in hand.
