I currently work as a teaching assistant in a SEN school in Hertfordshire. I have built a good relationship with both the children and parents . Some of my experience now includes working with pupils on a one to one basis, with those that require a bit of extra help. To helping the teacher keep the class engaged and calm. I have learned how to de-escalate situations, include everyone in the group, encourage children during activities, basic sign language, and supporting them when they are having a bad day. I am currently studying for a Level 3 Elklan course in communication, which I am finding very helpful with children that struggle to express themselves. i have bundles of energy and thoroughly enjoy working with children, helping grow into amazing, confident young people.
